Drew Doughty is currently playing for the Los Angeles Kings and was chosen second over all in the 2008 NHL Draft. He was on the gold medal team for team Canada at the Vancouver Olympics 2010 and 2014, and Stanley Cup winner in 2012 and 2014. Drew is a former Guelph Storm player in the OHL and won the OHL – Max Kaminsky Trophy for Most Outstanding Defense man for 2007/08. He was one of four 2008 draft-eligible players to help Team Canada win gold at the 2008 World Junior Championships. He was named Top Defense man of the tournament. Doughty became just the fifth Canadian defense man to have won the award and the first to win the award before being drafted into the NHL. Drew played for the John Paul II Jaguars High School Hockey Team in 2001-2003.
